SGU held a Virtual International Exchange Fair on the website from December 6, 2021 to January 31, 2022. Viewers enjoyed various videos of partner universities, presentations of participants in the international programs, greetings from returned exchange students, and so on.

SGU to became a member of a Japan Forum for Internationalization of Universities (JFIU).
August 2021
SGU hosted online Korean Week events. On August 26, Professor Nakamura at Pai Chai University, Korea, gave a special lecture on Korean festival culture. On August 27, an Adjunct Lecturer Chang at SGU gave a special culture about Korea-Japan history and then participants were invited to the National Korean Museum’s special online tour to study cultural properties of Korea.

Six SGU students participated in the Online Summer Program hosted by Hungkuang University, Taiwan. More than eighty students from around the world and 30 Hungkuang University students deepened their exchange through cultural activities.

SGU SIPS has opened Instagram! SIPS stands for Student & Staff Initiative for Promoting Study Abroad. It is a national initiative led by MEXT Tobitate Ryugaku Japan project. SGU SIPS member will post the articles on the international events and the study abroad.

Two SGU students who have an experience of studying abroad was invited to the Multicultural Coexistence Event held by Natori City to make presentations and discuss with Junior High School students who are interested in the international exchange.
