October 2, 2017, Shokei Gakuin University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State Institute for Art Studies (SIAS), Russia. Attending signing were Vice Director SIAS, Dr. Galima Uralovna Lukina from Moscow; from Shokei Gakuin University, President Takafumi Goda, Special Assistant for President for International Affairs, Prof. Marie Aizawa, Prof. Akihiko Morita, Associate Prof. Sadakatsu Tsuchida, Assistant Prof. Sam Murchie, and some staff of the Regional and International Affairs Division.

Dr. Akihiko Morita, professor of Shokei Gakuin University, gave a special lecture on Post San Francisco System at Hungkuang University, Taichuang, Taiwan, on Aplil 28. The lecture was shared with both Shokei and Hungkuang University students and they had a discussion using on-line system.
