On April 21, 2016, Shokei Gakuin University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages, China. Attending the signing were Executive President Zhan Wendu, Dr. Wang Zongjie, Dr. Yao Lanzhi, Ms.Wang Xiufang, Ms. Wu Jianping from Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages. From Shokei Gakuin, President Takafumi Goda, Vice President Meiying Huang, Vice President Keizo Mizuta, Special Assistant to the President for International Affairs Marie Aizawa, Asscociate Professor Tao Zhang, and Director of Regional and International Division Mari Sasaki attended.

Attending the ceremony in person from CSPP were Associate Director, Department of Community Partnerships Sayaka Machizawa and International Faculty Lead/Fulbright Program Adviser and Director of Global Engagement Jennifer Fullick.
