1-1 Enhancement of Christian education Chapel services are revitalized, with more students participating.
  • Enhance Christian activities through music
    i.e. Hand bell choir
1-2 Cultivation of an attitude of recognition of diversity and cooperation Support systems for diverse students have been established and learning environments geared toward students’ future goals have been realized.
  • Establish University-wide support systems for diverse students, including international students and students with disabilities, and conduct ongoing training for faculty and staff
Full range of social contribution activities are implemented.
  • Collaborate with NPOs and churches to provide support for students’ social contribution activities
1-3 Initiatives to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDG initiatives are pursued on a University-wide scale and communicated to the community.
  • Hold a series of seminars on the theme of the SDGs
  • Promote SDGs-related educational curriculum
1-4 Prompting spontaneous motivation toward academic achievement Learning outcomes are made visible, and efforts are being made to prompt students’ spontaneous motivation.
  • Identification of learning outcomes, including evaluation of degree of academic achievement and implementation of SP-Radar and external examinations
1-5 Contribution to local community (Includes volunteer activities) Students are undertaking regional contribution/volunteer activities, independently making use of what they have learnt at the University.
  • Establish support systems for student activities such as local activities, community service activities and volunteer activities, such as providing information and consultations for students and linking such activities to class lessons.
1-6 Strengthen collaboration with alumni and stakeholders Students’ school pride and spirit is being fostered with close collaboration with the Alumni Association, Supporters Association, and SHOKEI GAKUIN Junior and Senior High School
  • Hold integrated alumni assemblies through collaboration with alumni association and university subcommittee
